BALL’N was founded by Rodney Jeter, an African-American Chicago native who attended Wichita State University and began his career in 1991 after serving an honorable military service in the US Army. While stationed in South Korea, Rodney played for the US Army Traveling Basketball Team, and he spent his down time visiting footwear and apparel factories. Rodney was fascinated with the process, and it was overseas that a seed was planted, and he decided to launch a sports lifestyle brand and uniform supply company called BALL'N. BALL'N focuses on integrating design with performance to create quality apparel for athletes whether on or off the court.  BALL'N inherited its popular name from the streets, and is used all over the world to describe great athletic performance on the court and living life to the fullest off the court.
